Our History
Rent a SUP Tours was born from our love for the sea and adventure. Founded in 2021, we have grown to become one of the leading SUP tour companies in the Benagil region. Our team of experienced and enthusiastic SUP guides is dedicated to offering high-quality tours that highlight the natural beauty of the coastline and the iconic Benagil Caves.

• What is included in our tours?
  Our tour includes all the necessary equipment:
  SUP board with fins and slash;
  Single or double paddles;
  Life jacket;
  Waterproof bag.
• Do I need prior SUP experience to join the tour?
  No, prior experience is not required. Our tours are suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced paddlers. Our guides will provide a brief introduction and offer all the support and safety tips you need before and during the tour.
• How long is the tour?
  Partial Tour (1 hour): This option is ideal for travelers looking for a shorter, more focused tour due to time constraints, mobility issues, or wishing just to visit the famous Benagil Cave.
  Full Tour (2 hours): This option is recommended as it allows participants to explore more of the Algarve’s coastline, including caves, secret beaches, tunnels, and other unique formations. You’ll enjoy a richer experience with valuable information, entertainment, and the opportunity to discover hidden spots along the Algarve coast.
• What should I bring for the tour?
  We recommend bringing:
  Water;
  Snacks;
  Swimwear;
  Sunscreen;
  Hat and towel;
  Camera or smartphone to capture the experience;
  Sunglasses (we recommend sunglasses with a floating strap).
  Note: It’s important to take care of your personal belongings during the tour. We are not responsible for any damage or loss of personal items due to personal negligence.
• What happens if the weather conditions are unfavorable?
  Your safety is our priority. If the weather or sea conditions are not safe for the tour, we will contact you to reschedule or refund your booking.
• Is there a place to store personal items?
  Yes, we provide waterproof bags for essential personal items during the tour. We also have a secure place to store belongings that you prefer not to take on the water.
• What time should I arrive at the meeting point?
  Please arrive at the time specified in your booking to allow for preparation and a tour introduction.
• Do you offer private or customized tours?
  Yes, we offer private and customized tours for groups. Please contact us for more details and pricing.
• Are there any age or physical condition requirements?
  We recommend that participants be at least 5 years old. If you have any specific physical conditions, please inform us so we can accommodate your needs.
• How do I make a booking?
  You can book your tour directly through our website or by phone. Please ensure you receive a booking confirmation to secure your spot.
• What is the cancellation policy?
  We offer a flexible cancellation policy. You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may not be refunded.
• Can I bring my own camera or photography equipment?
  Yes, you can bring your own camera or photography equipment to document your tour. We recommend waterproof cameras. Our guides are familiar with the locations and can assist you with photography, ensuring you capture the best moments.
